Thoroughly clean area around the crankshaft Hall sensor (B70).

Unclip electric line (5) from heat shield (1).

Do not kink or crush the electric line (5).
Otherwise damage will occur.

Remove bottom engine compartment paneling.

Remove screw (2) and remove heat shield (1).

 Installation: Ensure that the pin of the heat shield (1) is positioned correctly.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (4) from crankshaft Hall sensor (B70).

Remove screw (3).

 Screw/bolt, crankshaft position sensor to transmission housing

Pull out crankshaft Hall sensor (B70).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Read out and delete fault memory.


