Remove/install

Remove belt pulley.

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (1) from the timing case cover by turning counterclockwise with the assembly tool (2).

 The assembly tool (2) for removal/installation if the radial shaft sealing ring (1) is a component part of the scope of replacement parts.

 Dispose of radial shaft sealing ring (1).

 Installation: Use enclosed assembly sleeve (3) to correctly position radial shaft sealing ring (1).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check engine oil level.


The engine oil level must not lie above the maximum marking.
Engine damage can occur otherwise.

Depending on the findings,



Correct engine oil level.
