Remove/install radiator with fan and bracket for tensioner pulley

Remove/install

Open engine compartment flap at rear

Open and remove additional flap

Remove engine compartment encapsulation below the radiator.

Take off cross strut of engine compartment flap

Risk of scalding from hot coolant spraying out

Do not open cap of the expansion reservoir or radiator unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Turn cap carefully to the first detent or slacken one turn. Wear protective clothing.

Remove V-belt for fan drive

Remove V-belt tensioner pulley for crankshaft

Remove tensioner pulley bracket mounting bolt (1)

Remove coolant pipe

 Operation steps 9 and 10 do not need to be carried out.

Remove expansion reservoir

Remove fan drive clamping strut (2) on vehicle body

 Two mounting bolts

Remove bolts (3) on cooler bracket

 Remove complete with bracket.

Remove cooler downwards

 Raise vehicle frame at the rear if the ground clearance is not adequate.

Install in the reverse order

 After installation: Fill cooler, allow the engine to run - observe engine temperature - top up coolant - allow heating system to run - top up coolant if necessary - the heating system ventilates itself.
