1 | Remove bottom part of noise encapsulation (1) | ||
Danger! | Risk of injury to skin and eyes from scalding from hot coolant which splashes out. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open the cooling system unless the coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and allow the pressure to release. Do not pour coolant into containers for drinks. Wear protective gloves, protective clothes, and eye protection. | |
2 | Drain coolant, pour in | At radiator | |
3 | Disconnect coolant hoses (2, 3) | Inspect condition of coolant hoses, replace if necessary. Collect coolant which flows out. | |
4 | Remove cover panel (7) | Remove retaining clips. | |
5 | Pull off clips (4) at front end crossmember (5) | ||
6 | Remove front end crossmember (5) | ||
7 | Detach hood cable | Place to the side in the engine compartment. | |
8 | Unbolt air duct (9) at low temperature cooler (6) | ||
9 | Remove low temperature cooler (6) | Installation: attach retaining bar (8) to air duct. | |

10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
11 | Inspect cooling system for leaks |
