Remove/install

Remove flywheel

Remove fixing pin

 Installation: Install fixing pin on clearance
dimension (c).

Rework flywheel

Measure test specifications (a, b) for machining. If the dimension (b) is smaller that the limit value or the required stock removal on the clutch surface (A) is greater than 1 mm 

Replace flywheel.

 If the clutch surface (A) is reworked the fastening surface (B) must be reworked by the same dimension. Always observe the clearance dimension (a)!
Rework flywheel with scorch marks, score marks or fissures in the clutch surface through grinding or precision turning. After machining, there must not be any cavities and/or chatter marks on the clutch surface. If grooves or fissures are deeper than the permissible stock removal 

Replace flywheel.

Check lateral trueness, flatness and peak-to-valley height of the friction surface and fastening shackle.
