If the vehicle is equipped with heating, actuate the command to the open position.

Drain the coolant

Remove grease and scale in the cooling system

If the cooling system has strong buildup or excess fat, submit it to a process of degreasing / descaling.

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Before placing the reservoir cover (1), run the engine for 1 to 2 minutes at variable speeds

Stop the engine and, if necessary, fill up the cooling system level

Place the cooling system reservoir cover (1), fitting it completely.

Record the coolant change in the Maintenance Manual.
