 	Remove/install
 Warning	Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.  Danger	Risk of explosion caused by welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant.	Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. 3	Depressurize compressed-air circuit for auxiliary consumers
4	Close shutoff valves for heating feed line and return line	 See owner's manual.

		 Installation: Check dust filter (3); replace if necessary.
6	Remove electrical wiring harnesses from electrical connectors (6) at heater box (4)	 Installation: Ensure that electric wiring harness is routed properly.
7	Disconnect compressed-air line to heater box (4) at connector coupling
8	Loosen hose clamps and detach heater hoses from heater box (4)	 Clamp off heater hoses using locking pliers. Collect escaping coolant.
		 Installation: Check coolant hoses and replace if necessary.
9	Remove condensation drain hose from vehicle frame	Only with code HO4 (Front air conditioning system) (Konvekta air conditioner housing version)
10	Disconnect refrigerant lines (7) of air conditioning system from heater box (4)
	Compressor oils (specification 362.0)		BB00.40-P-0362-00A
		 Installation:  Do not swap refrigerant lines (7).  Use new sealing rings.  Coat sealing rings with compressor oil before installation according to the Specifications for Operating Fluids.
11	Remove screws (5) from heater box (4) at vehicle frame
12	Lift heater box (4) slightly and pull out toward front	 Two elastomer bearings are attached to the rear panel of the heater box (4). These are inserted vertically in two guide bearing panels when the heater box (4) is in its installed state.
		 Installation: Check elastomer bearings; replace if necessary. For easier assembly, treat the side insulations of the heater box (4) with lubricant.
13	Install in the reverse order
