Pull abutment B1 (31) and pressure pin B1 out of housing; to do this, unscrew Allen head bolt (33) or pressure switch for transmission overload protection (S65)

 The pressure switch for transmission overload protection (S65) is only used on transmission 722.331/ 372/ 380

 The gear set can fall out



Remove brake band piston B1 (37)



Remove brake band guide B1 (34) from the transmission housing

Pull gear set (87), clutch K1 (83), brake band B1 (30) and clutch pack of multidisk brake LB3 (133) together out of the housing

 According to condition:

Disassemble/assemble K1 clutch

Remove comb spring (134) from the housing

Remove brake band piston B2 (15), to do this press in the brake band piston cover B2 (17) and remove retaining ring (23)

Remove coupling K2 (100) from the housing

 According to condition:

Disassemble/assemble coupling K2

Remove brake band B2

Remove plastic guide ring (88a) and remove lip sealing ring B2 (88) from housing

Remove thrust plate (113) from support flange (79)

Remove support flange (79) from housing; to do this, unscrew Allen head bolts (80)



Assemble

Insert support flange (79) with O-rings (197) and teflon rings (115) into the transmission housing

Installation: Before installing the support flange (79) ensure that the lubrication throttle is inserted in the support flange (79)

Use two approx. 80 mm long bolts for centering to install the support flange (79)

Press teflon rings (115) into the groove so that the joint stays together



Slide thrust plate (113) onto support flange (79)

 Note the installation position!

Insert abutment B2 (29) with pressure pin (28) in the transmission housing

The larger diameter of the pressure pin (28) points towards the brake band B2 (27)

Insert plastic guide ring (88a) and lip sealing ring (88) in the housing

When installing, the sealing lip must point towards the brake band piston cap (17)



Punch-in drift for lip sealing ring of brake band piston B2

Install brake band B2 (27)

Install gear set (87) with coupling K2 (100)



Install brake band piston B2 (15); to do this, press in brake band piston cap B2 (17) and insert retaining ring (23)

Insert comb spring (134)

 The curvature of the comb spring must point towards the drive shaft. Furthermore, the comb spring must engage in the groove of the transmission housing

Install and measure multidisk brake LB3



Install brake band B1 (30)
