1 | Unscrew dust cap (2) from tire valve (1). |
2 | Mount filling adapter (5) on tire valve (1) and allow to latch by means of light pressure. |
The guide pin (4) must engage in the guide bore (3). |
3 | Unscrew dust excluder from tire test connection (5.1). |
4 | Check the tire pressure at tire test connection (5.1) using the tire air pressure tester. |
Check tire pressure only at tire test connection (5.1), do not refill. |
5 | Unscrew dust excluder from filling connection for run flat system (5.2). |
6 | Check the air pressure at the filling connection for emergency running system (5.2) using the tire air pressure tester. |
See operator's manual for tire pressure. |
7 | Correct tire pressure through run flat system filler connection (5.2). |
Only if the pressure difference (0.7 bar) between the tire and the run flat system or air pressure in the tire or in the run flat system deviates from the specified value. |
8 | Screw dust caps onto tire test connection (5.1) and filling connection for run flat system (5.2). |
9 | Pull the unlocking sleeve (5.3) upwards and remove tire filling adapter (5). |
