Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Drain coolant at radiator (6).

Remove intake air scoop (4/3)

Detach coolant hoses (17, 19) at radiator (6)

Installation: Inspect sealing rings for damage and replace if required, in order to avoid leakage. Make sure that safety clips are mounted accurately, in order to prevent the coolant hose from slipping off the connection fitting.

Detach vent hose (3) from fixture and front end cross member (40)

Detach hood cable (4) at coupling (5)

Unscrew bolts (43) at front end cross member (40)

Expose clips (41) at front end cross member (40)

Remove radiator retaining clip (42)

Detach couplings at fanfare horns

Disconnect electric coupling at ATA [EDW] hood switch

With code (491) USA version

For code (551a) Anti-theft alarm system (ATA).

Expose electric cables at front end cross member (40)

Remove radiator crossmember (40)

Separate plug connection of engine fan/ 100 °C temperature switch (X15)

Unhinge electric fan (2) at radiator (6) and take out toward top

Installation: Insert retaining lugs of electric fan (2) into the mounts at the radiator.

Install in the reverse order
