AD07.54-D-2000-02A | Instructions for self adjustment of the mixture formation on the gas injection and ignition system (pressurized engine control) |
The lambda control determines the injection time so exactly that the natural gas air ratio for all operating conditions is always around Lambda 1 (equivalent to the stoichiometric implementation).
If faults occur:
Unmetered air
Wear or carbonization of the injection valves
Engine wear
Fault on the intake manifold pressure detection
The control unit automatically performs a correction of the mixture formation.
The correction variables are continuously calculated and permanently stored. Self-adjustment is performed during idling and under partial-load conditions.
The correction in the direction rich or lean is a maximum of 25% in each case. The control unit adjusts again automatically after about 10 journeys after repair work has been undertaken such as replacing the control unit or the throttle valve motor. Self adjustment must be reset after correcting the named fault.
Resetting occurs if the control unit is disconnected. Recognition of the vehicle version as well as recognition of the mechanical limit stop of the close throttle valve must be re-activated after reconnecting the control unit.
