Remove oil separator

Remove camshaft position sensor (1)

 Installation: Use new O-rings (2) and lubricate lightly. Push camshaft position sensor to end stop into timing case.

Remove oil pan

Remove bolts (6)

 The air compressor is also fastened with a bolt.

Installation: After installing radial seal timing case (9) replace: 

Replace front crankshaft radial sealing ring

Remove timing case (5)

 Installation: When replacing timing case, transfer all detachable parts. Place timing case on the dowel pins (8) and drive on using a plastic mallet. Trim off any protruding seal exactly after installing the timing case.

Loctite sealant 574

 Apply sealant to separation points to sealing surface on oil pan.

Remove gasket (7)

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and fix new seal with grease on cylinder crankcase.

Install in the reverse order
