	Remove/Install
1	Remove clutch	Installation: Ensure the correct bolt length to secure the pressure plates to prevent damage to the flywheel (1).

2	Remove crankshaft angle position sensor (B1/15) from timing case	 Installation: Press crankshaft angle position sensor (B1/15) into the timing case as far as the stop.
3	Attach cranking and blocking device	 Block the cranking/blocking device by inserting the pin.	AR03.30-T-1600-03BB
		 Installation: The cranking/blocking device must be removed before starting the engine, to prevent damage to the engine.

4	Remove bolts (3)	 Installation: Oil the bolts (3) lightly.
		 With standard flywheel	*BA03.30-N-1002-01M

5	Remove washer (2)	 If installed.
6	Screw in two drifts (4) in two opposite tapped holes		*403589026300
7	Fit assembly device to the flywheel (1)		*WH58.30-Z-1014-07A

8	Detach flywheel (1)	 If flywheel (1) is tight, screw two bolts into opposite threaded holes and pry off flywheel (1).
		 Installation: The centering hole in the flywheel (1) and the centering pin at the crankshaft must be aligned.
	Check
9	Measure shank length of bolts (3)	 If the maximum shank length of the bolts (3) is exceeded, the bolts (3) must be replaced.
		With standard flywheel	*BE03.30-N-1004-03E
		With two-mass flywheel	*BE03.30-N-1007-03E

10	Check race of flywheel (1)	 Replace a worn or damaged race against a separate order: 
		Remove/install race on flywheel	AR03.30-T-8350BB
11.1	Check friction surface on flywheel (1)	 Except for two-mass flywheel. If there are scorch marks, score marks or cracks on the friction surface, the flywheel (1) must be post-worked or replaced.
11.2	Check the two-mass flywheel	 The two-mass flywheel may not be repaired or reworked. In the event of damage or wear, the two-mass flywheel must be replaced against a separate order.	AR03.30-T-8002-01BB
12	Check ring gear	 Replace a worn or damaged ring gear against a separate order:
13	Install in the reverse order
