1 | Remove diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B28/8) and place to one side with connected hoses. | ||
2 | Remove clamp(1). | ||
3 | Expose catalytic converter temperature sensor electrical connector (B19x1), release, and disconnect. | ||
4 | Expose lambda sensor electrical connector (B85/2x1), release, and disconnect. | ||
5 | Expose temperature sensor electrical connector upstream of the diesel particulate filter (B19/12x1), release, and disconnect. | ||
6 | Release clamp (6) and lay down in the direction of the main muffler. | ||
7 | Remove bracket (5). | ||
8 | Remove screws (3, 8) and remove bracket (7). | ||
9 | Remove screws (4) and remove catalytic converter with the diesel particulate filter (2). | | |
10 | Remove lambda sensor (B85/2). | If the catalytic converter with the diesel particulate filter (2) is replaced. | |
11 | Remove catalytic converter temperature sensor (B19). | If the catalytic converter with the diesel particulate filter (2) is replaced. | |
12 | Remove pressure lines with connected hoses and diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B28/8). | If the catalytic converter with the diesel particulate filter (2) is replaced. | |

14 | Replace sealing ring on ATL. | ||

20 | Attach bracket (5) and tighten screws and nuts slightly by hand. | ||
21 | Lower vehicle. | Do not lower vehicle fully. | |
22 | Install clamp (1). | Check clamp (1) for damage and replace if necessary. | |

28 | Connect electrical connector of the lambda sensor (B85/2x1). | ||
