Unscrew quick-release fastener and collect transmission oil in a suitable container.

Remove screws (13, 14).

Remove multiplate clutch K27.

If transmission housing (1) is to be replaced.

Measure

Measure end play of transmission housing (1) and correct if necessary.

Install multiplate clutch K27.

If transmission housing (1) has been replaced.

Install new seal (16) on torque converter housing (15).

Align disks in transmission housing (1).

Place transmission housing (1) on torque converter housing (15).


Place the transmission housing (1) carefully.
Otherwise, the disks in the disk pack may break.

Push output flange (8) onto output shaft (17).

Move transmission housing (1) gradually closer to seal (16) of torque converter housing (15) by abruptly turning the output shaft (17) and simultaneously lifting the transmission housing (1).


The transmission housing (1) must make full contact without any gaps with the seal (16) on the torque converter housing (15).
Otherwise leaks may occur.


Never pull the transmission housing (1) by the screws/bolts (13, 14) onto the torque converter housing (15).
Otherwise, the disks in the disk pack may break.

Detach output flange (8) from output shaft (17).

Screw in new screws (13, 14).

Drive deep-groove ball bearing (10) into transmission housing (1) using suitable drift.
