Disconnect electrical connection (8)

Remove bolt (11) from ground line (12)

Remove ground line (12) from working area

Release and disconnect electrical connections (13) from dual clutch transmission control unit (N15/13)

Unclip bracket (14) with electrical wiring harness (15) from dual clutch transmission control unit (N15/13)

Disconnect electrical connection (22)

Unclip electrical wiring harness (15) on transmission

Lower vehicle with vehicle lift

Pull out electrical wiring harness (15) with bracket (14) upwards and remove from working area

Unscrew nut (16) under intake manifold or the charge air pipe (17)

Remove screw/bolt (18) under the intake manifold or the charge air pipe (17)

Raise vehicle with vehicle lift

Position telescopic lifter using removal fixture at suitable position on transmission (1)



Unfasten nut (20) and remove threaded pin (21)

 Threaded pin to engine/transmission

Remove transmission (1) from below

 Installation: Before positioning the transmission (1), turn damping ring (24) against flywheel (23) in the direction of the arrow and press notches (24.1) into the relevant opening of the flywheel (23) (arrow).

 Helper required.



Check

Check transmission (1) in the area of dual clutch for leakage

If there are problems



Remove dual clutch, identify cause and rectify.

Check gearing at flywheel (23) and dual clutch for wear and damage

In the event of complaints



Replace flywheel (23) and dual clutch.
