Remove injection nozzle for exhaust aftertreatment system

Remove clamp (2)

 Installation: Check condition of clamp (2); replace as per findings.

Remove SCR catalytic converter (1)

 To do this remove SCR catalytic converter (1) from the exhaust rubber (3).

 Installation: Check exhaust rubber mount (3) for damage; replace if necessary.



Clean

Remove combustion and corrosion residue at separating points

Install in the reverse order

Connect vehicle with diagnostic system and read out fault memory



 Delete fault as per the findings.

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
