Danger | Risk of death when working on component parts and systems with U >= 30 V alternating voltage (AC) or U >= 60 V direct voltage (DC) | Do not touch damaged or defective live component parts and lines or non-insulated electrical connections and lines.
Warning | Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove cap (2) of expansion reservoir (1). | Turn cap (2) counterclockwise only up to the safety catch and relieve overpressure. Then unscrew cap (2).
2 | Clamp off coolant hose (4). | Clamp
3 | Extract coolant from expansion reservoir (1). | Filling capacity for cooling system
Hand pump | |||
4 | Remove bleed line (3) from expansion reservoir (1).
Seal opening of bleed line (3) with suitable stop plugs.
Record plug | |||
5 | Release expansion reservoir (1) from bracket (8). | To do this, unclip catch hooks (7).
Installation: Ensure that catch hooks (7) engage audibly.
6 | Lift expansion reservoir (1) until coolant hose (4) is accessible. | Installation: Ensure guide pin (6) is inserted correctly into elastomer bearing (5).
7 | Remove coolant hose (4) from expansion reservoir (1).
Collect escaping coolant.
8 | Remove expansion reservoir (1).
| Check | ||
9 | Check elastomer bearing (5) for damage. | If elastomer bearing (5) is damaged
| |||
Replace elastomer bearing (5).
10 | Install in the reverse order.
| Check | ||
11 | Check auxiliary circuit in area of expansion reservoir (1) for leaks. |
