4 | Disconnect pressure line (4) at high pressure pump (7) | When slackening and tightening the union nut, counterhold at threaded union with wrench. On no account exceed the tightening torque in order to avoid also slackening the threaded connection the next time Do not slacken connection of pressure line (8)! Do not crimp or bend line. Ensure scrupulous cleanliness! Ensure line is exactly located. Inspect sealing cone at the line. Replace line if compression points exist. | |

6 | Detach fuel return flow line (2) and fuel feed line (9) at high pressure pump (7) | Replace sealing ring. | |
7 | Unclip fuel return flow line (2) and electric cable below the high pressure pump (7) | ||
8 | Unscrew bolts (10) at high pressure pump (7) | | |

9 | Detach high pressure pump (7) | High pressure pump must not be opened. Driver (5) can be taken off. | |
Installation: Replace seal (6). Clean sealing surface. Auf Pay attention to position of driver (5). If driver (5) is worn, also replace the intermediate gear. Refer to: | |||
