4.1	Take off belt pulley of coolant pump (5)	Only engine 612.981

5	Install retaining lock for crankshaft/starter ring gear		AR03.30-D-5000NA
6	Remove bolt (2) with washer (3) from belt pulley/vibration damper (1)	 Installation: Replace bolt (2).

7	Pull off belt pulley/vibration damper (1)	If the hub of belt pulley / vibration damper (1) is firmly attached, pry off carefully with suitable lever.
		 Installation: align belt pulley/vibration damper (1) to Woodruff key (4) and push up. Ensure Woodruff key (4) is correctly installed.

8	Check belt pulley/vibration damper (1) at hub contact surface for entry grooves on the front crankshaft radial sealing ring	 Where entry grooves are present: 
		Replace belt pulley/vibration damper (1)
9.1	Replace front crankshaft radial seal	Only when replacing the belt pulley / vibration damper (1).	AR03.20-D-3000NA
10	Install in the reverse order
 Danger!	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. 11	Allow engine to run until warm, then turn off engine and check for oil leaks
