Risk of burn injuries and scalding when working at AdBlue lines and the components attached to them. Risk of injury to skin and eyes when handling AdBlue. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing AdBlue

Pour AdBlue into suitable containers only. Wait until the pressure is released before starting any work on the exhaust aftertreatment system.

Detach protective cap on valve (6)

If a valve cap and protective cap in the previous design are still installed at the pressure reservoir (4), a valve cap in the new design must be installed. The new valve cap has an inside seal and is installed without protective cap.

Pressure reservoir for pump module changed

Drain pressure reservoir (4)

Press valve (6) until pressure reservoir (4) empties fully.

Remove housing cover (7) with pressure reservoir (4)

Install

Clean housing cover (7) with pressure reservoir (4) and pressure reservoir housing (3) and inspect for damage

Replace housing cover (7) with pressure reservoir (4) if necessary.

Install housing cover (7) with pressure reservoir (4)

Installation: Clean contact surfaces for O ring (5) using clean rags and water.

Thinly coat O-ring (5) with lubricant before assembly.

Be sure to use the prescribed lubricant and make sure that the lubricant is used extremely sparingly, as otherwise damage to the exhaust aftertreatment system may occur.

Inflate pressure reservoir (4) with compressed air
