Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. | |

| Remove/install | ||
1 | Drain the coolant up to approximately the level height of the thermostat valves | ||

Catch the coolant, change it if necessary. | |||
2 | Remove the paneling plates of the body in the radiator compartment in order to make possible the removal. | See the body manufacturer instructions. | |
3 | Remove the expansion tank hose mounting clamp (11), and detach the hose from the cooling system | Check the condition of hoses and clamps, replace if necessary. | |
4 | Remove the aftercooler hose mounting clamp (12, 13), and detach the hoses from the cooling system | Check the condition of hoses and clamps, replace if necessary. | |
5 | Drain the coolant | ||

Gather the coolant properly, replace it if necessary. | |||
6 | Remove the mounting clamps (10, 14) from the radiator, and remove the hoses from the radiator | Installation: The red hose must be installed between the turbocharger and the radiator. | |
Check the conditions of the hoses of the radiator, replace them if necessary. Do not invert the hoses. | |||
7 | Remove the bolts (1) from the fan bracket and from the air deflector | Screw of fastening wedge on the holder of lower engine radiator | |
8 | Position the air deflector next the fan so that it is possible to remove the radiator | ||
9 | Remove the radiator (1) and the aftercooler | Check the condition of the radiator and of the aftercooler. In case of damage, repair or replace them. | |
Be careful to not damage the radiator and the aftercooler. | |||
10 | Installation in reverse order | ||
11 | Fill up with coolant and check the coolant level, correct if necessary | ||

12 | Check the tightness of the cooling system |
