Remove bolts (2)


Unscrew the bolts (2) in stages in a crosswise sequence.
The clutch pressure plate (3) can otherwise be damaged due to tilting or distortion.

Remove clutch pressure plate (3) and clutch plate (4) from flywheel (7)



Check

Check clutch pressure plate (3) and clutch plate (4) for damage and wear

Replace clutch pressure plate(3) and clutch plate (4).

Install

Use coarse emery cloth to grind friction surface (7a) on flywheel (7)

Use coarse emery cloth to grind friction surface (3a) on clutch pressure plate (3)

Position clutch pressure plate (3) with clutch plate (4) on flywheel (7) and center using centering pin (012)


Check clutch plate (4) direction of installation is correct. This is indicated on the clutch plate (4).
Incorrect installation leads to damage to the clutch pressure plate (3), clutch plate (4) and transmission (1).

Fix clutch pressure plate (3) in place using 3 bolts (2) on the flywheel (7)

 Screw in the bolts (2) here only by approx. one turn.

Position remaining bolts (2) and then tighten all the bolts (2)


Tighten bolts(2) in stages in a diagonal pattern.
Otherwise the clutch pressure plate (3) may be damaged if it is tilted or distorted.
