Remove/install

Secure vehicle against rolling

Raise vehicle at front axle far enough so that wheels can turn freely, and jack up vehicle

Open maintenance flap

Tilt cab

Remove soundproofing under steering gear

Remove side soundproofing (1)

Remove front soundproofing (2)

Remove clamps (3) of oil pressure line (4)

Remove oil pressure line (4)

 Collect escaping oil in a suitable container.
With regard to return shipment or scrapping of removed parts, please observe the information in your warranty system.

 Installation: Replace oil pressure line (4).

Remove oil pressure line (6)

 Collect escaping oil in a suitable container.

Remove pressure connection (7)

 Installation: Replace angled pressure connection (7) with straight pressure connection.

Install in the reverse order

Fill up steering gear oil and bleed



 When bleeding the steering, check whether the additional steering axle is also self-steered.

Check connecting points of oil pressure lines (4, 6) for leaktightness

 Visual inspection.
