Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.



Relieve pressure at coolant expansion reservoir

 Relieve pressure by opening once and then closing.

Remove upper engine cover

Remove air filter housing

Replace old bolt (1) of coolant line (3) with new, longer bolt (5)

 Make sure that the coolant line (3) does not slip out of the coolant pump or that it is not pulled out.

 Grease residue is present in the area of the adjusting piston for the adjustment lever (4), these are not to be removed.

Check from below if bolt (5) of coolant line (3) is correctly seated

 Installation:
The bolt head (5) must be seated flush on the retaining tab (2) of the coolant line (3).
Otherwise, leaks may occur on the coolant pump.
