MODEL 638.094 /194 with CODE (H06) Air conditioning
MODEL 638.294
Residual engine heat utilization is put into operation with engine warm from operating and ignition key withdrawn after actuation of residual engine heat utilization switch (A20s7) from control and operating unit of climate control (A20).
Auxiliary coolant heater pump (M10/M45) holds upright water circuit through heater heat exchanger and via non-powered opened pulse valve (Y37).
Heater blower (M40) circulates warmed interior air at speed set on blower dial (A20s2).
System is shut off through:
Several actuations of residual engine heat utilization switch (A20s7)
Switching on ignition lock position 1
End of operating time of approx. 30 min
Battery voltage falling below 11.5 V
Control and operating unit of climate control (A20) switches to residual engine heat system mode after terminal 15 voltage supply is shut off and internal control voltage is present from residual engine heat utilization switch (A20s7).
With active residual engine heat utilization temperature control is also switched on, i.e. driver can adjust desired interior temperature.
In order to display residual engine heat system operation, indicator lamp in residual engine heat utilization switch (A20s7) is actuated.
