MODEL 638.0 /1 /2
with CODE (FZ4) Anti-theft alarm with interior motion sensor
with CODE (FZ5) Anti-theft alarm
The anti-theft alarm (ATA) can be activated with the radio frequency remote control (RFL) or with the control switch in the driver's door lock.
The prerequisite for activating the anti-theft alarm (ATA) is that all doors, the engine hood and tailgate (rear doors) are closed.
Activation is possible only when circuit 15 is switched off.
The vehicle must be completely locked with the central locking feature and when activated with the vehicle key, the key must be actuated in the door lock for at least 1.5 s.
When the alarm is triggered with the panic switch all doors are locked (if all doors are closed) and the alarm is triggered with the alarm horn and the turn signals.
Successful activation and locking of the vehicle is indicated by the turn signals (flashing once) regardless of whether actuation was accomplished with the remote control or vehicle key.
When the ATA is active, the LED in the panic switch (S15) flashes.
With ATA2, the LED in the interior motion sensor/anti-towing sensor switch (S20) flashes.
The ATA is not activated when one of the doors, the tailgate or the engine hood is not properly closed.
