The system can be deactivated only with the radio frequency remote control (RCL) or the control switch in the driver's door lock. If the passenger door, sliding door or tailgate is unlocked with the vehicle key with the ATA in the activated state, an alarm is triggered.
This can be switched off with the remote control or with the key in the driver's door.

If the alarm is activated with the panic switch, it is possible to switch off the alarm by pressing the panic switch again.

Deactivation is confirmed by the turn signal lamps coming on momentarily.
