Function sequence

Locking with key in lock in driver's door on vehicles equipped according to guidelines for transport of hazardous goods (GGVS)

1 Prerequisites:
Driver's and passenger doors closed

Ignition: OFF

2 Mechanical locking operation was started with key in door lock (1) in driver's door.

3 The mechanical locking operation is registered by the door catch switch (S74), a changeover switch on the locking motor (M11) in the driver's door, and signaled immediately to the ZV/KSA control module (A23).

4 The signal from the door catch switch causes the ZV/KSA control module to actuate

the GGVS control module (A5)

and

the locking motors (M11 and M12) in the driver's and passenger doors.

The locking motors move to the locked position, locking the closed doors and switching off the interior lighting in the cab.
The GGVS control module switches off the entire electrical power 10 s after the locking operation has been completed. For this purpose it interrupts actuation of the battery separation switch.

If the passenger door is opened after the locking operation has been started, the driver's door is locked, unlocked and locked again to indicate that the passenger door is open.

The locking command for the passenger door is stored and the passenger door is locked automatically when it is closed later.
