Excessive force limitation while partition wall raises
The excessive force limitation is active during the manual and automatic closing function
The excessive force, which should only occur in the event of pinching, is summarized in the following table depending on operation and prehistory
Partition wall lift, function | Synchronize | Prehistory | Triggering threshold | Lock-up reverse |
Manual Raise | no | --- | None | Inactive |
yes | --- | FAmax1 | Active | |
yes | last closing operation led to reversing | FAmax2 | Active | |
yes | the two previous closing operations led to reversing | None | Inactive | |
Automatic Raise | no | --- | No automatic operation | Inactive |
yes | --- | FEmax | Active |
The excessive force limiter must be active with a pinching force of FEmax = 60 N on the automatic up function and a force - travel -rate of 1.5 N/mm to 20 N/mm in the area of 230 mm > s > 3 mm inside partition wall opening.
It is necessary to set the excessive force limiter to the following values while rolling the partition wall up manually, based on the triggering threshold FAmax determined during automatic closing.
FAmax1 = FAmax kÜKB manu1 threshold 1
FAmax2 = FAmax kÜKB manu2 threshold 2
with the manual closing feature based on the threshold value determined during the automatic closing feature
The constants kÜKB manu1 = 1.5 and kÜKB manu2 = 2.4 and the triggering threshold FAmax can be adjusted within the range of
1 to 5 (increments: 0.1) by programming the partition wall control module (N69/10) at the end of the line.
Resetting of one to the two increased thresholds to the basic threshold with manual actuation is accomplished when circuit 15C is switched back on.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If circuit 15C is not available, circuit 15C is replaced by circuit 15R. The period of time from recognition of pinching to the reversing of the drive is t < 20 ms. If the signal for automatic closing or the signal for manual closing after automatic activation still exists at the time of the obstruction, then the drive motor is merely stopped.
If then the park position of the control switch is recognized, the partition wall is opened 10 mm (measured at a right angle in relation to the upper edge of the window). If the signal for "switch in neutral position" is recognized at the time of the obstruction, the partition wall is opened 70 mm (measured at right angle to top edge of the window). Mechanical vibrations (caused by e.g. poor road conditions or slamming a door) are not recognized as pinching. The specified values are maintained regardless of the load of the passenger compartment partition motor (M10/7), the operating voltage and the ambient temperature.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lock-up reverse:
If the synchronized partition wall is in the pinching area, an emergency function in addition to the above mentioned excessive force limitation with manual or automatic up function is active If the closing function is activated when the partition wall is synchronized the emergency function is immediately active. If the force of FEMAX max= 160 N (default) increases over the function path traveled, or if within the time tEmax = 150 ms +20 ms, the hall sensor signals do not change, pinching is recognized and reversed correspondingly.
Adaptive excessive force limitation
Function prerequisites
partition wall is synchronized
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description
When the partition wall closes stiffness in the partition wall motion corresponding to a force of FAdap = 80 N (default) is sensed and used for precontrol for further actuations. The adaptation is active with each partition wall raising function. The adaptation is accomplished in the same area in which the excessive force limitation is active. 1 adaptation value is stored for max. 10 counter impulses each. With the manual and automatic up feature adaptation is performed upward to the maximum adaptation value when no bad path is recognized.. If a bad path is recognized adaptation is only performed in increments depending on the bad path excitation. When the partition wall is reversed during the automatic up operation, the adapted values beginning at the reversing point are reduced by at least 60 mm less than the value for the previous partition wall up operation.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If the partition wall reverses in the case of manual closing the adapted values are reduced to the value of the previous partition wall closing operation in the same manner as during automatic closing. When the partition wall control module (N69/10) is active, the values are stored in the RAMThe changed values are written back into the EEPROM before transmission to the sleep mode. The adapted values are not erased by synchronization nor by voltage loss.
Exception:
In the case of desynchronization due to an unacceptable position counter status the adaptation values are set back to the default value "0 N". If adapted downwards, adaptation is accomplished in increments per partition wall run in steps of 10 N
