Operating procedure

1 After the raise or lower button (8 or 9) the vehicle frame is raised or lowered. In the display of driver information system (FIS) (P2p1) in the instrument (P2) the "vehicle frame above normal position"symbol or "vehicle frame below normal position" symbol (11.1 or 11.2) is actuated.

2 The rear module (HM) (A65) actuates at the drive axle the solenoid valve block for level control on 2-axle vehicles (Y27) or the solenoid valve block for level control
on 3-axle vehicles (Y28) and, with full air suspension, the solenoid valve for front axle level control (Y26).
The air spring bellows are pressurized or depressurized.

3 The vehicle frame and thus the cargo area, has reached the desired height, for example, the height of a loading ramp which is to be approached often in the near future.

4 The frame height is stored by simultaneously pressing the stop button (10) and button for frame heightM1 (5) or the button for frame height M2 (6).

Storage can only be carried out when the vehicle is stationary. Always operate the stop button (10) first, hold button securely and then in addition press the button for frame height M1 (5) or button for frame height M2 (6).

The stored frame height can only be called up from a speed of < 30 km/h.
