1 | Drain the oil from the rear axle | ||

2 | Remove the semi axles from the rear axles |

3 | Loose the screws (7) and remove the differential cap (5) | ||
4 | Loose the counter nut (12) and remove the adjust screw of the ring gear back (11) using a sliding pad (10) | ||
5 | Remove the screws and thread rings locking plates (2) and (9) | ||
6 | Loosen the counter nut and pressure screw (15) of the bearing cap (16) | ||
7 | Remove the locking screws easels of the 2nd speed (14) and bearings covers (16) | Mark bearings covers regarding its bearings on the rear axle housing to assemble them subsequently in the same positions. | |
Apply gentle tapping on the bearings covers (16) to remove them | |||
8 | Fix the differential using the lifting device and remove threaded ring (2) and external bearing race of the ring gear teeth side | Mark threaded rings and bearings regarding its pillow block bearings to assemble them subsequently in the same axle housing positions. | |

9 | Tilt slightly the differential and remove it from rear axle housing, together with external bearing race (8), threaded ring (9), and locking easel of the 2nd speed (13) | Move previously the sliding sleeve in and loose governor fork | |
10 | Remove from differential, locking easel of the 2nd speed (13), threaded ring (9) and external race bearing 8) | External race bearings cannot be changed | |

11 | Check for metal particles and other metal residues laid on the cavities of the housing | If necessary, remove the oil deflector and carry out the cleaning of the housing and bearing tubes. | |
12 | Check the roller bearings, the threaded rings and the bearing caps for damage or wear | ||
13 | Check the sliding pad wear (10) of the adjustment screw of the ring gear back |

Replace the sliding pad. | |||
| Install | ||
14 | Lift the ring gear with differential using the lifting device | Lifting device | |
15 | Assemble at opposite sides of the ring gear teeth, external bearing race (8), threaded ring (9), and locking easel of the 2nd speed (13) | Note the marks made on dismantling and installing the parts at the same positions they were before that. | |
16 | Assemble on the rear axle housing (1) on ring gear teeth side and more distant from ring gear housing, the external bearing race and threaded ring (2) | ||
17 | Install carefully the differential (3) on the rear axle housing (1) by fitting at the same time, sliding sleeve groove on locking easel of the 2nd speed (13) | ||
18 | Install threaded rings (2) and (9) and turn them until touching the planetary gear bearings | ||
19 | Install the bearings caps (16) on both sides of differential | Note the marks made during removal and assembly of bearings caps at the same positions that they were before that, pay attention to coincide threaded ring equipment on the bearings caps and housing. | |
20 | Install the bearings caps screws (16) and tighten them firmly | Note that threaded rings can still be turned after tightening bearings caps screws | |
Put oil lightly on the fitting surface and apply sealing agent on the screw nuts that make communication with a external part of the rear axle housing. | |||

22 | Tighten the locking easel screws of the 2nd speed | Bolt fastening the 2nd speed locking support | |
23 | Put the locking plates of the threaded rings (2) and (9) and tighten screws | ||
24 | Install the adjust screw of the ring gear back (11) using a sliding pad (10) |

25 | Install a new sealing joint (4) on the rear axle housing (1) and then, differential cap (5) | Apply previously sealing ground on the rear axle housing | |
