Removal

Unscrew hexagon nut (7) for axial bracket

Unscrew hexagon socket bolts (6) and remove secondary pump housing (5).

Remove sealing ring (2) and intermediate plate (1).

Remove pump gears (3, 4) from secondary pump housing (5).

Remove locking ring (15) and remove cover(14).

Pull spring plate (13), spring (12) and shut-off piston (10) with sealing ring (8) out of the pump housing.

Remove Teflon rings (9, 11) from shut-off piston.

Installation

Install new sealing ring (8) in the secondary pump housing (5).

Install new Teflon rings (9, 11) in the shut-off piston (10) and lubricate with automatic transmission oil.

Push shut-off piston (10) into the secondary pump housing (5).

The Teflon rings (9, 11) must be compressed when pushing in the shut-off piston.

Insert spring (12), spring plate (13) and cover (14) and install locking ring (15).

Insert pump gears (3, 4).

Insert intermediate plate (1) and new sealing ring (2).

Mount secondary pump housing (5).

15

Tighten hexagon socket bolts (6) and hexagon nut (7) for axial bracket.

The slot (A) in the axial bracket must be horizontal when installed.
