A Minimum installation dimension

 	Remove/install
1	Remove shift clutch	 Only detach clutch housing cover (7). The shift clutch remains on the torque converter clutch.	AR25.40-G-0200C
2	Unscrew hexagon socket head bolts (1)	  Installation: Replace hexagon socket head screw (1)	*BA25.40-N-1010-01B
3	Remove central clutch operator (2)	 Check central clutch release bearing (2) and replace if necessary.
		 Installation: Coat grooves for sealing rings (3, 4) in the clutch housing cover (7) with brake cylinder paste.	*BR00.45-Z-1030-06A
4	Remove circlip (5)
5	Remove drive shaft (9)	 Use a suitable drift for pressing out.
		 Installation: A minimum installation dimension (A) must exist between the flange of the axle shaft (9) and the clutch housing cover (7). Ensure that the radial bearing (6) is not pressed out again when pressing the axle shaft (9). Use suitable drift for pressing in.	*BE25.40-N-1001-06A
6	Remove radial sealing ring (8) using a suitable lifting tool	 Installation: Use a suitable drift. Grease radial sealing ring (8) and fit for radial sealing ring (8) lightly with multipurpose grease.	*BR00.45-Z-1017-06A
		 Installation: Grease containing mineral oil may not reach the central clutch release bearing (2) and the line connection of the clutch, otherwise the sealing rings (3, 4) will be damaged.
7	Remove radial bearing (6)	 Use a suitable drift for pressing out.
		 Installation: Install using a suitable drift for pressing in.
8	Install in the reverse order
