Clean sealing surfaces on the timing case (6) and on the fuel system high pressure pumps (1).

Clean oil hole (arrow D) on timing case (6) and on the fuel system high pressure pump (1).

Install new sealing rings (2, 3) on the fuel system high pressure pumps (1).

Coat sealing rings (2, 3) using clean engine oil.

The marking (arrow A) on the positioning disc (4) and the casting edge (arrow B) must be flush with each other.

Turn drive gear (5) using the positioning disc (4) if necessary. It is only in this position that the crescent-shaped cutout (arrow C) of the positioning disc (4) on gear (7) can be pushed past.

Insert rear screw/screw/bolt in the fuel system high pressure pump flange (1).

Insert fuel system high pressure pump (1) into the timing case (6).

Place the fuel system high pressure pump (1) straight on the timing case (6), while observing the hole pattern of the screw/bolt holes (8) on the timing case (6).
The drive gear (5) must engage in the gear (7).

Lay fuel system high pressure pump (1) with the screw/screw/bolts on timing case (6).
