Loosen mounting bolt (10/1) on injection pump flange

Loosen mounting bolt (10/3) on support holder

 Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Start engine

 Warm up engine to normal operating temperature (coolant temperature approx. 80°C).

Set RI value by turning the screw on the adjusting device (8)

 Direction of rotation of the adjustment screw

To the right: start of delivery later

To the left: start of delivery earlier

Test and adjustment values

Turn off engine

Tighten mounting bolt (10/1) on injection pump flange



 Check for leaks with engine running
