Position through axle in crankcase rear part in such a way that lever (1) is shifted according to measurement (A). .

Turn off tie bar ends (3) and (5)

With lever (1) positioned according to measurement (A), control and, if needed, reposition lever (4) according to measurement (B). .

Hold lever (4) in the measurement (B) and adjust the tie bar (5) in such a way to obtain lever idle drive position (5) of injection pump. .

With engine brake throttle valve completely open, adjust the tie bars (6) in such a way to obtain lever position (9) according to measurement ©..

Activate engine brake. Between lever (7) and stop (8) there should be a clearance of approximately 2 mm. This clearance should be maintained when accelerator pedal is completely activated, until it reaches the stop. If a fine adjustment is needed, execute adjustment in the tie bar (6). .

In vehicles OF and O 371 U engine installed acceleration system is coupled with engine brake. Its adjustment consists in obtaining injection pump lever return to idle speed position when engine brake is activated.

Turn idling speed control button to the end of the course (clockwise).

Turn off tie bar end (9), which is linked to engine acceleration system.

With accelerator pedal on idle position, control lever position which should be shifted according to specified values. Adjustment, if necessary, must be carried out through tie bars. .

Start adjustment with tie bar (1) to obtain lever shifting (2) and accelerator pedal angular position (A). .

Tie bar (3) adjusts lever position (4). .

Tie bar (9) should be adjusted after regulating the tie bars installed in the engine, and should fit, with no tension, in the engine acceleration system ball terminal and with injection pump lever in the idle speed position
