Warning | Risk of injury caused by pinching and crushing when opening and closing engine hood | No one should be within the swivel range of the engine hood as it is being opened or closed. Always open engine hood all the way to the end position until this engages in the front locks.
1 | Tilt the engine hood | ||
| |||
Warning | Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
2 | Remove coolant system reservoir end cover (1)
3 | Check coolant level | Translucent reservoir: the correct coolant level corresponds to the Max./Min. markings on the reservoir.
Reservoir without level indicator: level is correct when liquid reaches the lower edge of the supply nozzle.
Before reestablishing the level, if necessary, check the coolant's concentration .
4 | Check the cooling liquid concentration
