Position wheels of front axle and additional steered axle on turntables

The adjustment of the axle geometry and center position of the steering cylinder and toe-in adjustment of additional steered axle (ZL) must be in order.

Position wheels of driven axle on compensation bridges

Connect Hand-Held Tester (HHT)

Risk of accident due to vehicle automatically starting off when engine is running. Risk of injury due to being trapped and burns when intervening while starting the engine or when the engine is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off automatically.

Select additional steered axle system and carry out commissioning

The procedure is menu-assisted.

Parameterize control unit (additional steered axle)

Program front axle (FA)

Program additional steered axle (ZL)

Bleed hydraulic system of additional steered axle (ZL)

If the control unit has been replaced, for example, the bleeding routine must be called up and the individual steps confirmed.

However, bleeding must not be carried out at the bleed valves.
