	Remove and disassemble
1	Drain the gearbox oil
2	Remove the threaded plug (19), lift-off the sealing ring (18), the oil filter (17) the spring (16) and the bushing (15)
3	Remove the oil radiator piping	 Only vehicles with gearbox oil cooling.
4	Detach the transmission shaft at the output flange (31)
5	Remove the output flange (31)		AR26.40-B-0007TA
6.1	Remove the rear cover (26)	Gearbox without power take-off.	AR26.30-B-3001TA
6.2	Remove the power take-off	Gearbox with power take-off.
		Power take-off NA 121	AR26.45-B-0001TC
7	Remove the oil pump (24), the shim (23) and the valve elements (22)		AR26.55-B-3000TA
8	Remove the rear cover (30)		AR26.30-B-3000FA
9	Lift-out the pulse star (29)
10	Remove the locking rod for the Interlock	Vehicles with "mechanical" gearbox actuation.	AR26.60-B-0025TA
11	Remove the threaded plug (7), from the lock pin of the Interlock (4) and the spring (6)	Vehicles with "mechanical" gearbox actuation.
12	Remove the range group's command cylinder	Vehicles with "mechanical" gearbox actuation.	AR26.18-B-3100TB
13	Remove the pin from the fork (20)
14	Turn the shift piston (12) 180° and pull it out
15	Remove the radial seal and the guide bushing from the piston rod		AR26.31-B-0101FA
16	Remove the bolts attaching the rear housing (14)
17	Install the guide pin (32)
	Guide pin for installing the range group		WF58.50-B-3100-01A
17	Remove the rear cover (14)	 Do not damage the sealing surface.

18	Remove the ball bearing (28), and the compensating disc (27)
19	Remove the O-Rings (5, 9)
20	Remove the shift fork (11) and lift out the sliding skates (10)
21	Remove the planetary assembly (8)
22	Inspect the sun gear (2) for wear and damages, if necessary replace	 To replace the sun gear (2), remove the lock ring (3).
23	Disassemble the planetary assembly (8)		AR26.50-B-3102FA
