I hereby apply for the above-described modification to the speed limit.

2.

I hereby undertake – with a view to preventing any risks to life and limb or property,



to arrange immediately for required country-specific approvals and changes to the vehicle documents due to the possible cancellation of the operating permit at my own cost,



to inform other users and acquirers of the vehicle about the change and evidence this on the request of Daimler AG,



to ensure that the vehicle corresponds to the applicable statutory provisions, and - if necessary - the change the modification to the speed limit at my own expense back to its original status. To this end, the corresponding process, (such as parts ordering with the relevant XSF "Xentry Support & Feedback" ticket, filling out forms, etc.) has to be conducted again,



to ensure that the speed limit adhesive label (1) shall always be easily visible on the instrument panel.

I hereby agree that personal data such as my name and address may be stored both at partners of Mercedes-Benz and in Daimler AG systems for documentation of the process and changes to the vehicle.

To ensure that this customer statement is completely filled out,

To verify that the technical equipment, in particular the tires must match the tire speed index, corresponds to the modified speed limit,



To ensure that the speed limit adhesive label (1) is always easily attached in a clearly visible position in or on the instrument panel.



To check that the requirements concerning the operating permit are given, and that the adaptation is permissible in accordance with applicable law. If you require assistance, please contact your national organization.

Modification to speed limit

Via sales to workshop or directly to workshop

Workshop:

Clarification as to whether the new speed limit is possible in accordance with state legislation. If you require assistance, please contact your national organization.

Customer and workshop:

1.

Fill out customer statement pertaining to "Speed limit modification" and then copy it.

Customer signature, workshop stamp and signature.

2.

Customer identification:

Suitable documentation: e.g. ID card.

Copy of registration papers and

–

where applicable, copy of the request-specific document(s).

Workshop:

–

Scan in completed customer declaration form (see 1.) and send as an attachment via Xentry Support & Feedback (XSF) ticket in the "Software retrofit" event category.

–

Trigger parts order (part number and procedure see SI00.00-D-0015SG for model 907, 910, SI00.00-S-0015B for model 447 or SI00.00-S-0015A for the remaining models mentioned above). The XSF ticket number is to be entered in the ordering system in the "Additional entry" field.

–

SCN coding at engine control unit or at powertrain control unit (CPC) after feedback via Xentry Support & Feedback (XSF) ticket has been received from GLC Germersheim.

–

Archiving of copied customer statement (see 1.).

–

Attachment of corresponding speed limit adhesive label (1) (included with shipped CD) for identifying the speed limit.
