Function sequence

Locking with radio frequency remote control

1 Prerequisites:
 Driver's and passenger doors closed

 Ignition: OFF.

2 Locking operation was started with "locking" button on radio frequency remote control (FFB) (1).

3 The FFB control module (A43) receives the "lock" signal and relays it to the ZV/KSA control module (A23).

4 This signal causes the ZV/KSA control module to actuate the locking motors (M11 and M12) in the driver's and passenger doors. The locking motors move to the "locked" position locking the doors and switching off the interior lighting in the cab.



 If one of the two doors is open when the locking operation is started, the closed door is locked, unlocked and locked again to indicate that the other door is open.

 If the passenger door is open, the locking command is stored and the passenger door is locked automatically when it is closed later.

 If the driver's door is open the locking command is not stored to protect against the driver locking himself out. For the driver's door the locking operation must be repeated after closing the door.
