7 | Remove screw/bolts on propeller shaft center support bearing | ENGINE 642.896/898 in MODEL 906 | |
8 | Remove drive shaft on transmission and push downwards | ENGINE 642.896/898 in MODEL 906 | |

10 | Unfasten clamp (7) on diesel particulate filter (1) | ||
11 | Remove retaining clamps (9, 10) of pressure lines (8) | ||
12 | Unscrew union nut (8.1) for pressure lines (8) on diesel particulate filter (1) | ||
13 | Place pressure lines (8) to one side and fasten | ||
14 | Remove temperature sensor (11) from diesel particulate filter (1) | ||
15 | Remove NOx sensor (12) from diesel particulate filter (1) | ||
16 | Remove screw/bolt (13) for diesel particulate filter (1) at cylinder head holder | ||
17 | Remove screw/bolts (14 from diesel particulate filter (1) at transmission holder | ||
18 | Remove diesel particulate filter (1) to the rear | ||

19 | Clean sealing surface on exhaust system | ||
| Install | ||
20 | Replace sealing ring (16) on exhaust pipe (2) | ||
21 | Position clamp (3) on exhaust pipe (2) | Note correct position of the clamp (3) and screw/bolt (3.1) (arrow a). | |
22 | Push in diesel particulate filter (1), screw in screw/bolt (13) on cylinder head holder and screw/bolts (14) on transmission bracket to fix in place until the diesel particulate filter (1) is pre-positioned | Clamp (3), when placing from the diesel particulate filter (1) to exhaust pipe (2), press slightly apart with the hand (arrow b). | |
23 | Position clamp (3) on diesel particulate filter (1) and exhaust pipe (2) and then engage screw/bolt (3.1) (arrow c) | | |
