Release and disconnect oxygen sensor electrical connection (B85/3x1)

Create access to electrical wiring harness (1)

 Installation: Ensure that electrical wiring harness (1) is routed correctly.

Detach oxygen sensor (B85/3) on CAT exhaust pipe (3)

 Installation: Coat thread of oxygen sensor (B85/3) with hot lubrication paste.

Install in the reverse order

Attach diagnostic system , clear fault memory and reset lambda value in control unit adaptation menu item

After replacing the oxygen sensor (B853).


