Remove/install

Remove air intake hose downstream of air filter

Remove screw/bolts (8, 9) and remove heat shield (7) from exhaust pipe (4)

 Bolt, heat shield to bracket

 Bolt, heat shield to exhaust collector pipe

Disconnect electrical connection (2) for temperature sensor (1)

Expose electrical line of temperature sensor (1)

Remove temperature sensor (1) from exhaust pipe (4) and take off

 Installation: Apply hot lubricating paste to the thread on the temperature sensor (1).

Paste, hot lubrication 1 kg, DBL 6879.20

Install in the reverse order

Attach diagnostic system, clear fault memory and perform initialization of the temperature sensor (1) using a diagnostic system

When replacing the temperature sensor (1)


