Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

Start engine and run at idle speed

Turn steering wheel to stop

 It must be possible to turn the steering wheel without much force.

Turn steering wheel again briefly (maximum 5 second intervals) until a firm steering wheel stop is achieved

Turning the steering wheel up to a firm stop overcomes the return force of the steering valve.

Read oil pressure value on pressure gage

 If the steering is limited before the stop, check the settings of the steering mechanism and check for damage before adjusting the steering limiter. 



Renew bolts (1, 2) and sliding sleeves

 Only necessary if the oil pressure does not fall to the specified value (larger value of oil pressure than specified value), Switch off the engine and move the front wheels to the straight-ahead position before carrying out the operations of this step.



Adjusting steering limiter

To do this, the front wheels must be forced to the maximum right and left wheel locks.

 The steering wheel must be turned only with increased force with or without hydraulic assistance. The sliding sleeves on the two bolts (1, 2) are then pushed automatically into their respective switch-off positions. Check the steering limiter again.
