Inspect wheel bearing play

 Use an assembly lever to check the wheel bearing play. Adjust the wheel bearing play if necessary: 

Check steering knuckle bearing

 The steering knuckle must be relieved of load in the process.

Operate the service brake, raise and lower the wheel several times using an assembly lever and check the play in the steering knuckle bearing in the process.
