Do not swallow or come into contact with the TIREFIT tire sealant, which is an emulsion of rubber and terpene phenolic resin. No open flames or open light sources.

Detach complete wheel



Set complete wheel upright with tire valve facing downwards for approx. 10 minutes

Unscrew valve element from the valve to allow the pressure to escape from the wheel and tire assembly

4.1

Unscrew union nut of the valve body and press the valve body into the complete wheel

 The tire pressure sensor can still be used after using the TIREFIT tire repair kit (3).

4.2

Pull tire valve out of disk wheel

Use a rag to cover up the disk wheel on the mounting location.
Otherwise the disk wheel will be damaged.

 Press the remaining components of the tire valve back into the wheel.

Attach drain hose (2) to a genuine tire sealant container (1) and insert drain hose (2) through the tire valve bore in the disk wheel

Only if an empty, genuine tire sealant container (1) is available.

 The drain hose (2) should be approx. 400 mm long. To enable the TIREFIT tire sealant (3) to be drained, the complete wheel should be put down and raised by approx. 150 mm (a). This method enables approx. 90 % of the TIREFIT tire sealant (3) to be extracted.

6.1

Extract TIREFIT tire sealant (3) by compressing and slowly releasing the tire sealant container (1) from the wheel and tire assembly

Only if an empty, genuine tire sealant container (1) is available.

6.2

Drill through tire tread using a drill bit (Ø 10 mm) and let TIREFIT tire sealant (3) flow into a suitable container

Only if an empty, genuine tire sealant container (1) is not available.



Choose drill hole and angle carefully.
Otherwise, the tire pressure sensor may be damaged.

Detach tires

Carefully remove tire.
Otherwise, the tire pressure sensor may be damaged.

Clean

Wipe any remaining TIREFIT tire sealant (3) off the disk wheel using a damp cloth and clean tire pressure sensor


Only remove dirt with a clean, lint-free cloth. Do not use compressed air, solvent or cleaner.
Otherwise, the tire pressure sensor may be damaged.



Install

Install tire pressure sensor
