Unscrew collar nut (2) from valve body (3) and remove

Remove tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) with valve body (3) from disk wheel

Remove seal (5) and support ring (6) from valve body (3)

Unscrew valve body (3) from tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4)

When reusing tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).



Clean

Clean tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4)

When reusing tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).


Only remove dirt with a clean, lint-free cloth. Do not use compressed air, solvent or cleaner.
Otherwise, the tire pressure sensor may be damaged.

 The tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) can also be reused after the TIREFIT tire repair kit has been used.

Clean the disk wheel in the area of the valve bore



Install

Detach label (4) with identification number (I) from tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) and stick in service booklet

When replacing tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).

Replace valve body (3) and valve element (7)

When reusing tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).

 Insert the square of the valve body (3) into the guide on the tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) so that this is fixed in position.

Mount support ring (6) and seal (5) on valve body (3)

 The cone on the support ring (6) must be seated correctly in the contour of the tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4).

 Observe installation position (see arrow).

Insert valve body (3) with freely moving tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) from inside to outside into valve bore of disk wheel

Tighten collar nut (2) on valve body (3)

 When tightening the collar nut (2), press the tire pressure sensor (A69/1, A69/2, A69/3, A69/4) lightly into the drop center and press toward the valve bore of the disk wheel.

Only use plastic valve caps (1).
Otherwise corrosion damage may occur.
