Carry out concentricity measurement on drive flange (1).

Replace drive flange(1).

Attach retainer wrench (2) to drive flange (1) with two screws.

Unscrew nut (3).

 To do so, counterhold drive flange (1). Dispose of nut (3).

Remove retainer wrench (2).

Mark position of drive flange (1) relative to drive pinion (4).

When reusing drive flange(1).

Remove drive flange (1).

 Puller

Remove radial shaft sealing ring.

 Dispose of radial shaft sealing ring.



Install

Install a new radial shaft sealing ring.

Align drive flange (1) with marking on drive pinion (4).

When reusing drive flange(1).

Install drive flange (1).

Attach retainer wrench (2) to drive flange (1) with 2 screws.

Screw on new nut (3).

 To do so, counterhold drive flange (1).

Adjust friction value.

If tightening torque of collar nut is above the tolerance range after adjustment of the friction value:

Replace the rear axle differential.
